Experts unearths Secrets to Career Success in the Creative Industry

In an interactive session designed for aspiring communicators and creative professionals, Ayoade Omolola, Strategy and Intelligence Lead at X3M ideas  revealed  the new trick in the marketing industry.  While delivering his session in CV and portfolio building, Ayoade simplified the difference between resumé and portfolio by clarifying that resumé are experiences while portfolio are the creative works and skills that  that can benefit an organisation.

He further went to reveal cogent tips in marketing communications. He started that every campaign and  career move must be anchored in purpose, emotion, and astute creativity. He pointed out that the important takeaway for achieving outstanding results, whether in advertising or career development, is a radical shift in perspective.

The brilliant creative keyed in to an important philosophy for effective market communication: "A shirt is not a shirt if it can't solve a problem", pointing out  that every product must deliver tangible value to its consumer. The most potent campaigns, he opined, are built on understanding the consumer's deep connection to an issue.

He further went to state how insight is everything. Ayoade hammered on how professionals must always have an insight, which is described as the mechanism that takes what seems normal and attaches it to emotion. It is the emotion that drive Campaigns: This core emotion is what allows a campaign to be interesting and engaging. Although when it comes to advertising, the focus must be on the consumer. "In his words, we do it for people not ourselves." To wrap his session up, Ayoade made it clear that despite the fact that advertising is done with the consumer in mind, not everyone will be the consumer with his exact words being "Everyone can not be a target audience."
